SUMMER FUN! FUN! FUN!

So, it's been a while, where have I been?  I don't really know, but I do know I am excited about SUMMER and life, in general.  Lots of stuff running through this old brain of mine, but for now, I am just happy to be a bit more "focused" on what's important: BEING PRESENT!! :)

So I may have a few "heart posts" here and there, but I HOPE to blog about REAL life, fun life!  Living instead of "thinking" about living.  Getting off Facebook and out of my four walls a little more.  I still DO NOT know how some of these big time blog mamas seem to DO everything and blog all the time.  So I'll share as time allows.  I am a bit scatterbrained at times, so I'll do my best. :)  I really think blogging is cool because it allows you to share with those who care and because it's a great way to document REAL life!  I think it's a cool form of scrapbooking, because I just cannot seem to get all my collection out of my closet and hands-on do it....this is my new goal.

Enough of that.....

I was "pinspired" to make a summer FUN list!  That little perfectionist voice tried to say: "it needs to be a beautiful "wall worthy" production.  But that little voice is slowly being "shushed" away and I just did it, MY WAY and it's PERFECT! :)  not printed out with a cricut(which I don't even own, ha ha!) and plasted in perfectly matted frames or whatever.  But just done and not crippled as a thought...."perfectionism is the ENEMY of completion!"

So I just used plain index cards and the kids and I wrote down some fun things we want to do this summer!  I used a dry erase board, taped the cards on it, and categorized by money factor. We may do some more than once and maybe some won't happen, and a few will be added, I'm sure, but no rules, JUST FUN! :)They are so excited about this and I am too...feels like our 1st Summer Break is gonna be PURPOSEFUL! :)
